IBS and Anxiety
I came across Isabelle when doing a web search after I decided I needed to try to get some help for my IBS and anxiety attacks, which I have suffered from for a long time. I have seen doctors, and whilst they can give you pills to try and help with discomfort, I have never liked taking tablets. I also know that my anxiety makes the IBS a lot worse and that is something which I should be able to control more. So I decided to seek some help, or rather my wife made me try something different :-)
I went with no expectation, in fact the expectation was that it would be of no help at all, and would not work. Not the best start. But after my first session, despite being panicked about going, I did feel a bit better. I had three sessions, and whilst I do not consider myself cured, I do feel better and I now have the tools to help myself in the longer term and for that I am very thankful. Isabelle was kind and understanding throughout, always listening to whatever I had to say and spent time explaining my reactions, in a way that made sense to my logical mind.
If you are thinking of paying Isabelle a visit then I would really recommend you do. Depending on the reason for your visit, I am convinced you will get help. The degree of help will be on some part dependant on you and how open you are to helping yourself. If you are anxious about being hypnotised there is no need. I simply felt like I was just sitting in a comfy chair with somebody talking to me. I felt awake the whole time and believe that at any point I could have sat up and said stop. You do not lose control at all, so don't let those concerns stop you. And most importantly I have learnt from Isabelle that I am my biggest critic, so need to give myself a chance. I had three sessions and now can look forwards and use the recorded sessions available to keep going with helping myself.

Weight Loss
I seem to be going fine at the moment, haven't had a biscuit in work in about three weeks (colleagues who sit near the tin have actually commented on it). I can even go up to the tin, open it and still not fancy a biscuit. Still getting into the swing of the breathing and pressure on the finger to calm me down. I have noticed that I'm not getting as irate in work. I did get very cross at home, momentarily forgot the use the technique, but used it afterwards to calm down. I managed to leave the argument behind me alot quicker than I may otherwise would have done. Still have that mental image of me in the skirt I want to fit back into, and haven't been on the bathroom scales for about a week (a miracle for me as I'm normally on them every other day).

Depression
I still feel amazingly good! There have been a some down days but these are just the normal sort that we all have. Naturally, there have been a few wobbles but I do feel so much more myself and excited about making changes where previously I've thought ‚"what's the point". I still can't believe one session of hypnotherapy had such an impact.

Tobacco Habit
I am doing fine and still off smoking and chewing tobacco. I have stopped listening to your CD. The craving and temptation is 98% gone.
I am loosing weight and the diet is going well. I saw my dentist and started the treatment last week.
Thanks for your help and support.

Self-Confidence
If someone had told me at the start of my therapy that I would be confident, possess increased self belief within a matter of weeks ..... I would have chuckled. I have struggled with self esteem issues for the past 10 years which has caused me huge amounts of frustration. 4 weeks on and those horrible thoughts that held me back ... they have gone, it's amazing! I feel amazing and there is definitely nothing holding me back in life now .........I am going to get out there and enjoy it!
Isabelle's great - she really takes the time to understand you as a person/individual, personalises the therapy sessions and makes it all relevant to you. It was a great experience, I have learnt so much - I just wish I had met Isabelle many years ago!

Relationship Issues
What a wonderful journey you took me on during our session. Thank you for making me so calm and relaxed about something that had been causing me untold stress. If only all therapists worked like you!

Smoking
I just wanted to let you know that the session has been really
successful and I haven't had a cigarette for over a month. I'm so
grateful, whatever you did worked really well. Thank-you

Performance Nerves
The session you gave me on controlling my nerves when performing
on stage worked a treat. It was such a buzz and I allowed myself to
really enjoy the moment.
It was a great feeling to be able to finely-tune my nerves to the
appropriate level with the "Virtual Control Knob" you gave me.

Nail Biting / Fear of Flying
My 38 years of constant, painful nail-biting appear to have come to an abrupt halt! I hardly know what to do with my new nails and have even had to learn how to use an emery board (a skill I thought I would never need to acquire). It's been 8 weeks now and the relaxation technique you taught has proven effective each time I even get close to being tempted to nibble.
Jackie's fear of flying was, as we discussed, making planning family holidays a real pain and in many ways took away from the fun most people take for granted when looking forward to a trip.
After your sessions we took 2 flights to the USA and Jackie achieved this without any last-minute panic; only one glass of wine and no sedatives! She says the flights were fine and her nerves quite settled and whilst she remains wary of flying, she has already agreed to a trip next year! (Something we could never have planned so far off, in recent years).
Your calm, relaxed, approach to the sessions put us both at ease and made the time pass quickly.
